About Cloud Nine

Cloud Nine Farms was founded in the 1970's and has seen many updates and improvements over the years, however one thing has always remained the same; dogs have always had a presence on the farm.

Cloud Nine Kennels was born out of our love for herding breeds, especially Border Collies and Australian Kelpies. On the farm, the dogs are encouraged to excel at what they were breed to do.

On the property, there is a farmhouse, several gardens, a training yard, a barn, and a fully stocked pond. We have a live-in trainer and vet on site to make sure our dogs receive the best care possible.

Hallie Stephenson is the mastermind behind Cloud Nine Kennels. At 27 year old, she is the owner and resident vet, who has spent her life caring for animals. Hallie is well versed in holistic and traditional animal medicine. She spends her downtime taking long jogs with the dogs, attending yoga classes, and baking her world famous pies.

Alina Satterfield is our certified professional trainer that lives on Cloud Nine Farms. She is best known for her skills in positive reinforcement based training. She works as a handler in various sports and considers herself a "canine behavior nerd" because most of her free time is spent reading books on animal behavior.
